Introduction

VitalTile ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

The short version: VitalTile is designed with privacy at its core. Your health data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

VitalTile does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal health data from Apple Health
  • Personal identification information
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or tracking data
  • Device identifiers

How the App Works

VitalTile reads health data directly from Apple Health on your device to display in widgets. This data:

  • Is processed entirely on your device
  • Is never sent to any external servers
  • Is never shared with third parties
  • Is only accessible to the VitalTile app with your explicit permission

Apple Health Integration

VitalTile uses Apple's HealthKit framework to access health data you choose to share. You have complete control over which health metrics VitalTile can access through iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > VitalTile.

You can revoke access to any or all health data at any time through these settings.

In-App Purchases

VitalTile offers optional in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Apple according to their privacy practices.

Third-Party Services

VitalTile uses the following third-party services:

  • RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID but no personal or health data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

Widget configurations and preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard storage mechanisms. This data:

  • Is included in your iCloud backup if enabled
  • Is deleted when you uninstall the app
  • Does not contain any health data values

Children's Privacy

VitalTile does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
